Debbie Mullis is the Cornwall CASSPLUS Co-ordinator. Debbie has worked for CASS+ for 16 years in both Bodmin and Truro Courts.
CASS+ work closely with Remembering Our Roots CIC in their important work support in Victims of Crime, and also work with offenders and their families when appearing at court, signposting them to agencies as and when they need help with any issues they have.
Cass+ give advice and support from court settings without judgement, but with respect and fairness to vulnerable people who are at risk or have been processed through the criminal justice system. We are particularly experienced in helping when people are not been eligible for legal aid. Since 2016 Cass+ has been coordinating the Victim Care work in Cornwall on behalf on the Safer, Stronger Consortium and were awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2017. Cass+ support around 150 people each month.
